Oliver Winston Behavioral Urgent Care is seeking a Behavioral Health Specialist to join our team and provide individual and group therapy!
The therapist will provide services to individuals who have a diagnosis of opioid dependency and other co-occurring mental health disorders. The therapist will work closely with our case managers, nurses, and program physicians.
Qualifications & Requirements
- At minimum, therapist must have approved trainee status, certification or licensure through the Kentucky Board of Social Work
- Have training and credentials sufficient to provide case management services
- Has training and credentials to independently provide psychotherapy services
- Have training and credentials to independently provide group therapy services
- Have training and credentials to complete intake assessments and biopsychosocials to refer patients for treatment
- Maintain such credentials while practicing at Oliver Winston Behavioral Urgent Care Center, LLC
- This position will require the therapist to complete risk assessments and to petition the courts if and when involuntary commitment is warranted
Tasks
- Maintain an assigned caseload
- Complete clinical assessments
- Complete and maintain patient treatment plans
- Provide individual and group therapy sessions
- Maintain accurate documentation
- Maintain patient electronic health charts
- Provide care coordination with outside providers and/or treatment programs
Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Education: Master’s degree and License qualifying the designation of CSW in the state of Kentucky
- Experience: Outpatient experience in all age groups, experience in substance abuse counseling preferred
